Complete with the wheelchair, blonde hair, rich parents covering the mess up, car abductions, serial tendencies, instead of "Eomma" he sayin "Emma"... Only no nail biting. What's funny about Flower of Evil is Do Hae Su also had to leap back in the past to uncover Baek Hee Sung (where she had that hypnotherapist send her into the past via hypnosis)

She only went outside because Xioashi sent that text as her and motivated her to do that. In the original timeline she just reads their messages and goes back to sleep. That's why they showed the two timelines back to back and he realizes his small change in the form of that text killed her.

Everytime he comes on the scene I get suspicious, like sir you're a bit too smiley and helpful 👀😂 Also in the other ep when the Captain asked him why one of the pages was missing from the case file, we never got an answer. Suspicious 🗣️

I think Cheng did end up changing "how" Emma died, but she was still going to either way since death has been established as a node that cant be altered without heavy consequences. I also agree it's a misdirect with this dude as a serial killer since 1. he did seem to have a personal vendetta with Emma and 2. Clearly he hasn't committed any of the other crimes that have been done since then.

The reason why Emma went to the station in the first place was because of Cheng’s interaction with her parents through the text messages. Because of that, the parents were compelled to come to the city to give their daughter food and clothes. Noticing that, Emma decided to go to the station, where she meets the killer and dies afterwards. So it is Cheng’s fault that she died. But on the other hand, the killer also had history with Emma and she got put on the news for being a whistleblower because of the mission in the first place, which already would’ve pointed her out to the killer. So even though she did die because of Cheng, she would’ve died eventually because of her exposure in the news and the killer having a vendetta against her. IMO Cheng’s actions didn’t create Emma’s death, but moved the date to an earlier one. In summary, Sheera and Roshi are both kinda right.

2024-06-21 10:29:34 +0000 UTCBro for me baffled not even the word cause when I tell you I had to run all the first season back again to see if they gave out hints and realize they did throw little slick hints by either mentioning her name or showing pictures of Emma all in the show which I did enjoy cause but didn’t know the whole connection of why she kept getting brought up. Yet after you see this episode and realize she was by herself the whole time while she was on the bridge then you like then how she die and after the next episode they like we done giving you guys nice little happy ending with meaning to them now no now it’s time to go dark and I mean dark and everything you thought you knew about the show well they let you know we jus getting started cause you don’t know how we gonna take this story. Also season two is way more darker then season 1. This anime is great in story and in characters and in emotion this definitely a top tier anime to me

The killer was just hanging around, probably looking for his next victim out in the streets and Emma just so happened to be there because the text caused her parents to pull up n she wanted to go see them before she left. 2024-06-20 22:21:11 +0000 UTCThis where Cheng's redemption starts, I really love how they wrote this reveal, when Cheng found out it was his fault that Emma died, he didn't blame Lu Guang for keeping it a secret, he did the mature thing and accepted it and own up to his mistakes. Most other shows would've drag this on and had Cheng despise Lu but this was really well written. That ending reveal of Emma walking alone with the ED song playing gave me chills.

CXS could’ve dove back out any time in that thirty seconds Liu Min was walking around to check, but he didn’t and let it run down to the wire — and that wasn’t the face of someone who opened an empty trunk. Did CXS get caught vanishing or something? Also, I’m sorry, but Lu Guang and CXS cannot be the only dudes with abilities in this whole universe…the emphasis on the mechanics of the powers early on makes me think this is about to get real supernatural real fast lmao
