iirc, in the original version of Fallout 1 (when it originally released, not the Steam version), you could see children and kill them. If you do, you get the "childkiller" perk. I think you could have done it in 2 as well. They have since patched and removed children in the current Steam/GoG releases, though there probably is a patch to add them back in.

They don't really touch on the main factions in this show but the important ones at the time of the show are the Brotherhood of Steel which were all but wiped out on the West coast and the ones in the show are all reinforcements that came from the East. The NCR which was the first newly established government in the west growing out from Shady Sands which was its capital about an hour north from the LA Boneyards. The last main faction is the Enclave which the scientist whose head everyone's after defected from.

children arent something you see often in fallout games anyway. children cant be directly physically harmed by the player in the games. doesnt mean they are immune to the circumstances of the wasteland tho. just how the female vault guard was getting kidnapped for GOD KNOWS WHAT in the first ep; some likely must've gotten kidnapped, murdered and other more devious things id rather not even think about. the series gets dark. Paradise Falls; A pre-war resort turned modern day slave super duper mart peddles in slaves of every age. (I freed the slaves and wiped out all the slavers in fallout 3) but thats just off the top of my head

Just for clarification, the Great War happened and was a big part of what lead to the bombs dropping in 2077 (the intro for ep. 1), then about two hundred-ish years later different bombs were dropped on the New California Republic. Those are the ones Maximus ended up surviving., their conflicting educations on history just made it sound like one event.

Timeline is Fallout 76 -> Fallout 1 -> Fallout 2 -> Fallout 3 -> Fallout New Vegas -> Fallout 4 -> the fallout show @Kumi. For added context for anyone unaware, Shady Sands was a location in Fallout 1 the player could help, and the NCR (New California Republic) was a faction you could side with in New Vegas.
