@skylar I never read the comics. I've seen mohawk Storm before, but that's not the Storm that I'm used to seeing from the animated series and the movies. It just seems random to someone like me who isn't as familiar with those other depictions of her. I probably wouldn't mind it if she had straight hair and then post re-power up switched to the mohawk, I think that would've made more sense, but I think esthetically the straight hair down look is iller to me.

It’s unlikely it was done in the show as in payment Gambit had to work for Sinister and ended up being a part of the Mutant Massacre with the Marauders who were first shown in the X-Men 97 comic (which is officially a prelude to the show) walking through what looks like the Morlock tunnels

She’s not actually a goddess she is just referred to as one. Because of the nature of her powers the people in the Serengeti thought she was an actual goddess as they did not know what mutants were however people still call her a goddess because of her nature, charm and beauty. He only used it to fight the adversary. He rejected his native heritage and magic all his life hence why he joined the army. He wanted to assimilate and be one of the boys but he is the chosen one so when the adversary struck, forge had to do some fast track training with Naze, a shaman elder in his tribe. This is around issue 220 to 227 of uncanny xmen from the 80s. Ourside of training to fight the adversary and facing it, forge isnt shown using these powers again. He is a man of science.

I'm pretty sure Xavier having that sudden vision of Gambit was the second Gambit died. Like the globe exploding that purple color looked like Gambit's power so he didn't feel it late. It had to happen that second. Makes sense he'd feel it because he's got a close bond with his X-men bit why didn't he feel Magneto's death? I don't think he died. I think a miracle happened and when the Tri Sentinel made the declaration of death, Leech might have shut off Magneto and everyone else's powers to be undetectable. For those who don't remember, Leech's power is nullifying Mutant powers. He also can levitate small objects but his main ability is turning off powers ( he was the kid in the x-men 3 movie they got the cure from).

My introduction/refresher to a lot of the cosmic Marvel stuff in comics was Annihilation (which has led to the MCU's choices/route of the cosmic arena being a peeve of mine), so it's nice to see that aspect show up again in X-Men, but I'm probably in the minority of being one of the few bothered by Ronan's appearances, especially here getting worked over. For someone who was on a team with Beta Ray Bill, Silver Surfer and Gladiator, I feel like they're just kind of lacking with him in his appearances.

Storm had a mental block due to part of her not wanting to be a mutant anymore which she got past this return of powers. The hair things is weird but when you consider they were giving her a costume change to her original costume to the comics that look did not have a Mohawk so they took a liberty with it. By the same example you could question how she changed the atoms in her clothes into the new costume…somethings you just have to ignore and look past

Final episode of the original series, Xavier would have died but Magneto supercharged his telepathy which brought Lilandra to come and save him. She told the team that it was a long shot and could mean he could never return to earth which is why as far as the world is concerned Xavier is dead as they saw the attack on him and now he’s gone from earth. Charles never died. He was dying so he was taken off earth in hope these people would have the technology to save him which it seem they did. I mean he did for a little, then his girlfriend saved him, then they left. In the last season of the of show the professor was on the verge of death so the x-men thought they could get Lilandra back on earth to save his life but he was already dead but she was able to bring him back by using some of the technology from her home world but he would have to go with her so he could get better again

Jubilee's episode was light on the story but the animation was crazy and made up for it. I felt like a good 5 min at least could've been replaced with something more interesting here, they were kinda slow and repetative with the exposition imo Also I agree, Charles' voice is distracting and I didn't even watch the original, it just sounds wrong.

In the comics Forge is a descendant of Native American Shamans which is where the sorcery comes from. Nothing to do with Dr Strange but the episode artists may have taken inspiration from the MCU version of sorcery
