Nah, they did a poor job of conveying his inner thoughts this season. In the LN he states that he's pretty basic and Luke is below average , which is true cause when we see the actual sword users and fighters later on we'll see that both of them can't compare. Remember Rujerd was a spear user but managed to teach Eris beyond a sword saint, close to a sword king. Plus if you recall Paul is a sword saint and not king because he stopped training but Luke can't hold a candle to him, even Rudy has to use his magic and strong ones at that to beat him.

First of all, calm down. Second of all, I did not catch Zenith being stuck in a crystal because I don't really watch openings like that. And even if you catch that spoiler, you have absolutely no context as an anime only. Yeah she got caught but how and why is much more interesting in my opinion.I treat OPs like a teaser for the Anime. I agree that it can be done more subtle like JJK. If you've seen the entire second season of jjk you realize how many spoilers it actually has but it's hidden in plain site and with no context. And my main point was that still complaining about spoilery OPs is silly because it's gonna keep happening, and seeing people make that surprised Pikachu face every time gets old. Genuine spoilers in anime openings in 2024 is fucking insane lmao. It's one thing for subtle hinting which is clearly enough, but this does the opposite of a "hype generator". JJKs' season 2 opening is my biggest example for how clever hinting is must more satisfying than just blatantly throwing shit in my face behind music. Leave that spoilers in openings shit in the past with the other lame ass tropes that don't chime nowadays, it's boring as hell for those who know and don't of what happens next. And comparing anime openings to trailers is different, some people want to hear and see unique openings. You could literally ignore the DBS Broly movie trailers. If the movie had a opening showing majority of the fight and them fusing I promise it would've been a problem.

We did it guys, we tricked Lupa into watching a romance anime! Speaking of, his brain imploded at 7:40 Anyway, funny you mentioned Julie's pajamas. Originally Rudeus & Sylphie wanted people to come in their school uniforms, as the people attending were of different status, like royalty and more towards "commoner". They had to buy Julie an uniform as she didn't have one. Julie had taste tested when they practiced making chips and went to grab some from Nanahoshi, to her confusion. Sylphie also specifically asked Nanahoshi "But you come from another world. What do you mean (that you're from the same place)?" in the source. Rudeus decided to leave how to respond to Nanahoshi, but thought it'd be difficult to explain and was a bit worried how she'd take it, plus he doesn't exactly like how he was, charitably speaking. theres a lot to cover every episode. they gotta really compress and skip stuff. thats why season 1 was a bit better for that. they used the opening as a way to tell some of the story too. now they just have a normal opening so they lose a minute and a half of story telling time every episode. thats one full episode of time by the end of the cour
