X-men is one of the rare shows where it can get away with having relationship drama in it's plot. In other shows, they risk those romance plots and a lot of the time they come off as a waste of time and annoying. Logan and Remy are BIG MEN. in episode 1 when maddie went into gyrich's head, his memory showed him and bolivar in a conversation about the extra mastermolds "we need to build backupS" emphasis on that S. we only saw them take out one in the premiere, and this one here is a second one. no idea how many they have hidden around the world. makes sense one would be in genosha as that was the initial place of the original mastermold that was taken out in the OG series' first season. only mastermolds can make sentinels and are much more powerful than the average sentinel drone. im going with its bolivar trask and gyrich that are behind this, BUT there is a chance they are going to be true to the comic and its a major twist and a character that hasnt been seen outside of comics yet. this whole destruction of genosha and the look of that mastermold plus magneto dying? thats how that person debuted, so my buddies might be right. and if they are: we gon need ERRRRRRRRRRBODY! cable needs to go back in time and get jean when she was phoenix level lol we need HELP!

oh its already been green litted! we are getting at least 3 seasons. it was initially greenlit for two seasons and these were done over two years ago, with both the first and second season fully scripted and before he was fired, the head writer/creator started on season 3. guess they got some good buzz from press screenings and test audiences that they said "go ahead and do season 3 too".

Physical touch is incredibly important for many people to feel love and connection. This is a big part of why a lot of long-term long distance relationships fail. Personally, I see little need for a significant other if we are not physical with each other. Might as well just be friends sharing the rent at that point. I absolutely need to experience touch to feel like I'm loved and in a good relationship, and I think a lot of people would agree with that. If someone doesn't need that, it's totally fine of course. But it's also fine to have sexual touch tied to romance, that's pretty typical for most people. If this wasn't so relatably tragic for a lot of us then Rogue's character wouldn't be so compelling.

Jean had a moment of weakness after Scott has been ignoring her for a month. She then finds out that month of ignoring her has been because he’s been talking and smooching her clone behind her back psychically, which is something she used to cherish as something only her and Scott could do together I think it’s understandable why she would be upset, Scott’s actions with his baby momma are way deeper and more egregious than what she did this episode And the cherry on top is it’s because Scott has been ignoring her, she literally described him as her anchor and he’s left her out to hang, she’s at her most confused and vulnerable and the man she loves and who’s supposed to love her has been ignoring her

One thing that is a constant with the x-men plot is the Mutant species ALWAYS LOSE to Sentinels. It's like their destiny to be eradicated by these things in every single timeline and Genosha is usually Ground ZERO. It's tragic because the 90s show had these robots be nothing but jobbers fucking up but I always equate that to just them learning like babies, making mistakes and then evolving and this attack showed they aren't those useless bucket heads no more. Only one person can save them and they JUST introduced her (comic people know who I'm talking about ). But I dunno how they'll do that because her reincarnation power means straight up ENDING 97's plotline, but maybe they'll figure something else out and not use her and have it focused on Cable or use both of them. Can't wait to see because they cannot kill Magneto and get away with that.

1. Next episode will be storms story more than likely. we will have to wait two weeks for this plot again.(unless they do what they did in ep 4) 2. I think Magneto is alive but that leech is dead. When he blasted away you see a building in the background fall. So I think he was able to maintain his magnetic shield and they got launch towards the building in the back but not without injury. The destruction of Genosha and death of the mutant he told would never have to be scared again would definitely send magneto back to being a villain. 3. I don’t think this big sentinels is from the future. I think cable is just trying to prevent the attack. I’m pretty sure his mother died in this attack. Explaining why he apologize to her. Apology for not being able to save here likely again. This is at least the second time Cable has had a plot dealing with genosha 4. Don’t think Magneto was the target. The target was just all the mutants on the island. Cause it wasn’t really looking for Magento. Was just killing everyone until magneto started personally fighting it. Side note: Lupa hyping up Magneto while Magneto struggling to hold up his magnetic field is hilarious.

It's funny how this series is actually doing the opposite of the comics and fixing cyclop's biggest character butchering arc. In the comics he literally abandons his son and wife (which in the comics she wasn't a clone at first, but just a look alike, which makes it worse when Jean resurrects and he abandons his family). It's the arc that essentially made Cyclops fall out of favor with fans and made Logan the fan favorite. Here we have Cyclops actually recognizing that she's still the mother of his son, and even Logan gives her some room given the circumstance. And to top it all off Jean kisses Logan and yet has a problem with Cyclops kissing his wife? This series is super pro-cyclops haha. The author who created Madelyn Prior has always been vocally furious with what other authors did to Cyclops after (He was supposed to grieve Jean, love his wife, and raise his son, literally a happy ever after, and then the new author went, "No she's a clone actually and Cyclops abandons her because his flaw is that he'll betray even his kid for Jean!!!").

I’m so glad you saw the Watcher, remember the Watcher only shows up at important moments, the second I saw him I knew what was about to happen! This was peak X-Men great for just casual fans and they weaved so much comic book fan parts into this episode that it made it that much better. Also double drop wouldn’t help, next week they resolve the ending of the last episode. And Season 2 was greenlit before the first episode aired but the shows director and main writer was also fired around the same time. Side note when you realise the original shows voice actor for Gambit is now the new voice actor for Cable it makes why Cable wanted to stop it all from happening hit a little harder.
