no, she is talking from the stance of the FAIRY TALES not the DISNEY MOVIES. in the REAL little mermaid, the sea witch (no name) didnt do all that fuck shit that ursula did. she made the deal for the voice and dipped out. what happened was this: the mermaid cant speak so of course he didnt fall in love with her. she was a friend/pet and he met a woman, fell in love and got married. to save her from being a human a lone forever, her sisters traded their hair to the sea witch who gave them a magic dagger. the little mermaid had to kill the prince with it and she would turn back into a mermaid. but she loved him too much to kill so she went to a cliff, stabbed herself and as she fell dying into the ocean her body turned into seafoam. so that is why ko says "the lesson is: dont covet an engaged man" cause yeah she would still be a little mermaid with her voice if she would left that boy alone lol

We all have a negative bias which means, negative memories often stay in our memories for much longer. In the original little mermaid, prince eric married a different princess so i guess thats where they get it?

Yeah these main characters have many flaws, a lot of reactors don't really go below surface level to why she acts the way she does. We gotta remember she has anti social personality disorder so some shit she does is very selfish and out of pocket.
