While Kusuriya is essentially a medication mystery detective-esque period drama with a very, very slight hint of budding romance, Shirayuki is almost the entire opposite but still with a similar premise where the romance (and herb/botany) being the main point with the others I mentioned being the "side" things that happen throughout the series.
