Gesicht and Helena raised the boy together and loved him dearly. Robot KKK shit bag brother was going around abducting robot kids and killing them in protest of the robot adoption laws being passed, until he made the mistake of killing Gesicht's kid leading to him getting evaporated. Then they erased Gesicht and Helena's memories of their child/murder and planted it with the vacation. When the evil teddy bear is talking about Gesicht's weakness, he's referring to children and his soft spot as a father. That's why his guard was so down when he saw Ali in Amsterdam, plus he also resembles the model that his son was. That's why he says that he's got a son at home that looks just like him. Yhea seeing a dead child in a serial killer duffle bag would be crazy but his detective he must of seen things like this or maybe the war seeing destroyed robots and the fact his memories are always fresh and the fact dude killed like 23 robot children I understand why he would snap regardless.

The Ottoman Empire treasured them and cultivated them to perfection, and you see a lot of tulips in textiles/art during this period. When tulips eventually made their way to Europe in the 16th/17th century, they quickly became a craze among upper classes. This was especially true in the Netherlands, which is where Sahad lived in this episode lol. There was a whole Tulip Mania where tulips were probably worth even more than gold. This aligned with the Dutch Golden Age of art in the 17th century, which is one of the biggest art movements in European art history so tulips easily became a desirable subject in Dutch art at the time. Now the Netherlands is the biggest source of tulips in the world.
