Added 2025-06-30 15:43:45 +0000 UTCOne of the earliest Max Fleischer films has been located in wonderful 35mm! Easily one of the rarest films we’ve managed to acquire so far. The ‘Out of the Inkwell’ films are sadly the most neglected due to the fact that there wasn’t one major studio archiving and storing them thus making locating them more difficult. Most of the ‘Inkwells’ have been seen thanks to the 16mm home movie prints so finding a 35mm is incredibly rare. This film showcases the amazing technique of the ‘Rotoscope’ & ‘Rotograph’.
