Lying on the resume is not the issue. It's simply the nature of this job and the fact that John's mother does not have the privilege of knowing what is going on. It's quite selfish on his part, considering how dangerous his job is. It's true that "HiHi" would know that he's calling her. They're probably monitoring every phone call in real time. The thing is, now he's created a trail. She's a part of the game now and she doesn't even know it. So now all it takes is for John to say the wrong thing just once and it could be over. And that could become a challenge later on since, unlike the other people they've slipped up with, his mother is someone who is personal to him. He might be more inclined to really mess up with someone that close to him, especially when he wasn't wise enough not to tangentially involve her in the first place. That is why it is best not to involve someone that vulnerable to you. Beforehand, his mom had nothing to do with this. Now he's given them a sufficient enough reason to regularly monitor her. That's not good. They wouldn't have had to do that because beforehand she personally had no ties to it. The company is not going to waste unnecessary resources on monitoring every person you have a relationship with, but if you give them a reason they will.

Sheera and Lupa were wayyyy too emotional this episode. While it is dangerous to keep your family in contact , I still think it’s important to understand why he still made that choice. Plus I feel like John keeps his mom at a safe distance. I feel like any person would a heart would at least try to make it work especially if you’re the only person they have left. Also It’s easier to make the decision to cut yourself off from your family when your relationship is non existent in the first place so Jane doesn’t quite understand why John did what he did

Im black, I snowboard, I also live in Denver with easy access to mountains. Black people may not be one of the wealthiest in the country but we have incredible buying power. So we can allocate our money to going skiing but culturally we probably don't want too. besides the "oh black people don't ski." we also say "oh thats white people shit." which we apply to skiing or anything that a majority of white people do, while skiing isn't cheap its still not impossible to do especially with it being now easier today to get affordable rental gear etc. also Majority of black people are in the south or east.
