The trauma bondage alone would create a strong connection all in itself, and quickly. Honestly, if they started kissing right after they got back home from that explosion, I wouldn't even be surprised by it. lol that life would be so lonely; they literally only have each other.

2024-02-17 05:44:27 +0000 UTCthis is the episode that made me really get into the show. solidified its a comedy at the heart of it and the spy drama is just elements/a vehicle for the comedy. because of that you got to suspend your disbelief cause in reality, a BILLIONAIRE with ISLANDS? no way they are getting that close to him talk in public let alone in private save for some freaky sneaky. no security at all. and all these people, some who know him personally, all just let him leave with two complete strangers instead of calling 911 and with NO protest? not in reality but fantasy? sure. very much like the old school screwball comedies of the 50s and 60s

2024-02-17 00:11:03 +0000 UTCThis show has a lot of weirdly human moments like when Jane made that face in front of the mirror or the way John awkwardly overshares or lingers on some things in conversation. Really makes these two feel like normal people who just happen to be spies, I love it. Feels like some Atlanta vibes and you can see how Donald Glover had an influence on the production. It gets even more common as they get more intimate and the situation gets more complex.
