Her thought about being able to pull off the conversation without showing any emotion was because Jinshi asked a question about a subject she is sensitive to (how to lower the value of a courtesan). Also for right now at least I'm pretty sure she doesn't like him like that at all. Currently she doesn't even think she's capable of loving someone.

As per feudal hierarchy, anything a commoner would say vs a noble would be treated as lies, because all commoners can do is lie & complain, only a Noble is honorable enough to speak truth instead of lies), so there's not much you can do system wise, especially given his high utility (it might be a different case if he was lower nobility & a useless sack of shit w/ practically 0 competence)
