Especially the military because your life is so wrapped up in the job and you get issued all your gear, housing, salary, etc. Many people find their partner in the same service, so the joke is if you're supposed to have a spouse they'll issue you one along with everything else you need.

That scene in the hotel room was legitimately one of the funniest things I've ever watched this man fuches was fighting for his life 😭😭😭. He was big mad I know he's manipulating Barry and we shouldn't like him but I do along with noho hank. Noho hank is my favorite so far he just chillin. Barry definitely gives off sociopath but I like him as well he just wants to live his best life though he most definitely is an idiot a skilled idiot but still an idiot. Sidenote I recognize the one lady from the good place I haven't watched that show in a minute but she was my favorite her acting was top tier. She played like this a.i. or something and she killed it so I hope she plays a major role in this.

Regardless, She is dropping some gems, despite her "unlikable" personality. "Those feelings you are experiencing are good no matter how though they are. Its called being human" YASSSS. And barry says he can't handle it? "Yes you can. We will show you how" 🥰🥰🥰. She is the funniest character to me cause she has this dichotomy of being miss center of attention but also compassionate. Look how she welcomed barry into the group. Cause of her, he now has a new found family, one that wont make him kill and support his acting dreams.

I don't remember if it was in a book he wrote or if someone was quoting him in their book but an exercise denzel would do to practice different inflections of emotions is to say the same name over and over using a different tone. Sad: apple. Happy: APPLE! etc. And recent oscar nominee austin butler also talked about his improv class. There is a very famous acting coach to the stars who i discovered through her tragic death and she worked with EVERYBODY. And cant forget the queen herself, tasha smith, number one black acting coach. At least by notoriety.

They’re all caricatures of personality traits and are insufferable, vain, ignorant people who have no real accountability or self awareness and its meant for them to be like that because they contrast Barry who doesn’t have a personality whatsoever. Like’s a Block. Literal piece of cardboard in a lot of his scenes and interactions. But he does shitty terrible things. Like he’s a murderering hitman who’s only just know felt some way about his actions. Barry does shitty things with no personality while everyone else has a shitty personality but doesn’t really do shitty things

A lot of characters, good or bad, are heightened versions of stereotypes or unique for the sake of being interesting or memorable, but Sally feels like a real fucking person that I have met before. Her and Hank are my favorites and they have some insane performances later on.
