I'm not saying Rentaro /should/ blind himself, just asking a question to see if anyone knows. Being blind over saving 100 lives is something a noble man like Rentaro would do if he didn't think there was any other way to keep them from their misfortunes.

2023-12-14 01:32:58 +0000 UTCThe way I saw it was that the ‘regret’ Hahari talks about is falling in love and then terrible circumstances (whether it be lover passing away, falling out of love or in this instance be a side piece and potentially being dumped…very understandable POV) occur and then trying to fill in a missing piece of yourself or the void left from it (this instance being having a baby but it’s didn’t help her voided emotions and is like a constant reminder of a ‘failure’). She loves and cherishes Hakari with no regret for having her but only regrets her ‘failed attempt’.
