its one of those moments where Stark takes his role super serious, Offering to carry "as he is the muscle", possibly out of respect/admiration for Freiren as senpai. Fern seems like the character who uses "pervert" a little excessively, on top of being protective of Freiren for similar reasons. Stark hand motions were extra but I see it in a Yuji (itadori) sense, eager to help a Senior/person. I also think Fern, wanted have some "selfish" time with Freirein, since Freirein isnt the most affectionate.

I don't think Madhouse is at all good to their workers,MAPPA has just been going above and beyond by both treating their workers like how the industry usually does,AND they're also doing like a million shows so the workload is killing their animators. This man stoltz became my favorite character in less than half an episode I also looked up his name and apparently it means proud in German which is fitting. Him and stark gave slight itachi and Sasuke vibes. If I had to guess maybe if stark and fern get together and have a kid they'll draw the sword to defeat the great evil or whatever it is at the time. The thought of Madhouse animators sending emails to the Mappa animators partying in Barbados or somewhere like they on some gang stuff is wild 😭😭😭. I think the reason they kept bringing up the sword is that Stark didn’t feel like a hero. He still thinks he’s unworthy and a coward. He keeps thinking, what would Himmel do. It makes the truth of Himmel saving the world with a replica sword more impactful; he didn’t need a special sword to be a hero. He was one because he chose to be one. Stark needs to believe in himself.

I feel like if they do ship fern and stark it would be possibly their child who would have the possibility of becoming a hero. We realistically don’t know how much time we’ll get with our current cast, since this show is mostly focus around the elf, who was have seen again and again she has a long life span.

They got the 10 copper coins as they DEPARTED on their adventure, not when they defeated the Demon King. As so many have tried to take on the Demon King it didn’t make sense for the king to give them all a whole bunch of money, just for 99.9% of them to die anyways. (he was still a cheap bastard tho lol). Also the flashback of Himmel mentioning that the sword is a Replica happened before they entered the cave, wouldn’t make sense for Frieren to be surprised by the fact otherwise.
