But I genuinely for the life of me can’t believe that if someone had seen both shows they wouldn’t pick apothecary diaries. It just clears the other. Not just here, across the entire anime community; the premise sounds like a hard sell but it really surprises you by being an incredibly well written fusion of genres. Saying it's House MD: The Anime meets Law & Order with a Downtown Abbey historical drama vibe still isn't enough to describe it. Meanwhile 100 Girlfriends is fun but it's basically the same formula over and over - MC meets cute girl with specific quirk, hijinks ensue, she's accepted into the harem. That's it, that's the show lmao. It's only novel because there's so many of them and they're all equally okay with sharing the dude instead of fighting over him.

Shangri La Frontier is also a really good anime that's out now buts gonna have over 12 eps so it's gonna take a long time to finish. The Apothecary Diaries is something that I've been meaning to watch so I really hope they watch it but for the memes they should watch 100 girlfriends because why not. It's stupid just from the title and I wanna see some stupid shit.
