Im going to try and explain why beomseok looked at young-yi’s insta without spoiling lol😭 but its because earlier in the series he was looking at sooho’s insta and saw tht sooho was very popular and only followed like 5 people. Beomseok was gonna ask sooho to follow him back but later deleted the message. He now sees how easy it was for young-yi to have sooho follow her back. Beomseok feels as if hes not as close and it makes him upset especially because young-yi n sooho got close in like a day. We saw that Beomseok never had real friends in his last school and was bullied a lot. So in a way yes he is jealous (not love jealousy) and definitely feels as if he is not in there friend group or got replaced by young-yi. He has an extreme inferiority complex.

It could be. But he's also stated he struggles talking with girls and don't know how to act around them, so it's possible he just wanted to be involved. However I think it's in bigger part that he feels he's replaced, they had a trio going and now an outsider "took his spot", and this outsider is one of their "enemies" so to speak and his homie follows her, but not him. However it might also be a crush thing. We'll see.

I haven't seen the show so I don't know what happens. I don't know how your life has been, but when you get abused no matter where you go and what you do your vision becomes blurred of who's who. He obviously needs an outlet for his emotions, and when he's struggling to deal with himself it just happens when he's overwhelmed. Especially in the heat of the moment like that, your head becomes scrambled and just a mess. From personal experience it's hard to differentiate until the mental has been calmed down. Based on what you say it seems he goes way further tho, but yeah. It's sad to see.
