Not related to the series but in the game gow ragnarok, they never introduced loki at all before the fall of asgard. Could he already have been the Yggdrasil tree at the time. Crazy theory but it just got me thinking about it, might be way off

It's also interesting that Loki's last words are similar to what he said to his father before letting go of Odin's hands and falling. Another point is he is always asked by people if he's doing all of this because he wants a throne, funny enough he does get a throne for his glorious purpose, and when asked why he does whatever he does, Loki says it is because he doesn't want to be alone, in the end he ends up sacrificing himself in isolation to save everyone. There are a lot of easter eggs and symbolism here when looked at carefully.

The mad max quote was on point along with sheera's suggestion it made me think of Rick and Morty just bury the body in the backyard. Favorite part of the whole series was seeing yddgrasil and the whole sequence with loki ascending to the throne at the end of time guess he's the God of time now. The music was amazing as well gave heavy house of dragons vibes and the synth sound at the end was the cherry on top. If echo will be anything like this or better yet punisher sign me up. Sidenote loki giving Jonathan majors court papers is hilarious you telling me this god is that petty 😂.

2023-11-15 01:33:30 +0000 UTCSo a low down, He Who Remains is effectively the MCU version of a comic character called Immortus. Immortus is the end result for Kangs timeline, basically no matter what Kang or the various alternate Kangs try to do they will all eventually become Immortus meaning even if they do nothing and live a natural life cycle they will become Immortus in the end. Kang hates the idea of becoming Immortus and does everything he can to ensure he remains the current version of himself but per a time travel theory time always wants to happen so Kang trying not to be Immortus will ultimately still become him, there’s a Kang version called Iron Lad who is a younger Kang who became a hero to try and stop himself becoming Kang which would end the cycle however that becomes a self fulfilling prophecy and he eventually becomes Kang just as Kang will eventually become Immortus. Now in the MCU is HWR the most powerful variant potentially however the MCU changes things a lot, I think Kang Dynasty will end once the Council of a Kangs realise there’s no way to stop themselves eventually becoming HWR realising they will always end up with the sacred timeline because they will eventually try to preserve it then when they find out how he dies in the end they (or one of them) destroy the multiverse to stop their eventually death (while we see it happen now it technically happens at the end of time), which will lead into Secret Wars.

Simply letting the timelines branch while living, just creates a problem for himself in his tired state. Letting Silvie kill him and putting in contingencies to get back allows for him to catch a break while a younger, fresher him is born on his timeline and goes to war. He did want Loki to destroy the loom, otherwise he remains dead and the loom just keeps pruning the unwanted branches everytime it gets overwhelmed. No TVA but also no timeline other than the sacred timeline. The only way Loki ever goes back to the end of time and learns what the loom actually does and decides to destroy it is if the plan to save it doesn't work. That's probably why he set all of that in place. HWR still won here. Loki is probably going to sit at the end of time for eons but I think the universal war is inevitable.

The Scarlet Witch can manipulate reality (Red like the reality stone), this Loki controls all of time (Green like the Time Stone). That perhaps all of them together could beat all the kang variants. I don’t remember the full extent of it I just figured it would be cool to share if anyone was interested in the theory.

The only reason the plan to "fix" the loom with his plant of his own variant Timely happens is because he dies. He counts on never dying in the long run because both options he sees are the only options, and they favor him. But Loki created a third option. When he sits on the throne, it is the very last remains of the office on the meteor floating outside of time. The same place Renslayer came to and saw crumbling with He Who Remain's corpse rotting away. So he should be dead, moving forward, unless Timely is him and gets his memories or did something else to escape.

Some interesting things that made me enjoy this episode even more: I’m pretty sure it’s a tree bc Loki modeled the multiverse after Yggdrasil which supports all the realms in Norse myth like Lupa mentioned; It stands to reason that the time stone is green bc Loki used his magic to weave the multiverse timelines together; and Loki says “For you, for all of us” to Sylvie which is the same line he says to Odin before he falls into space (in Thor 1), only he was speaking to how he could have conquered and destroyed back then and this time around he means it in terms of sacrificing himself to save everyone. Which sucks bc he only just admitted last episode that all he wants is to belong somewhere with his friends.

2023-11-13 23:30:22 +0000 UTCi feel like kang played loki to free him from his prison.Making loki the news “he who remains”because last season he said he couldn’t see the end,but now he can see everythingeven to his words he was expecting loki to time stop all he did was tell loki what’s to come with this responsibility. Also judging loki about stopping his variants that was already out there in the multiverse preparing, and most likely know about the TVA and what HWR did with loki. As soon loki looked at the equation for some odd reason HWR looked back knowing this show the smallest detail means something big ,and i believe HWR played loki into taking his place so he can be free and this is how he’ll turn into another kang. lastly to what he told loki last season and this season that he can rule the TVA or go to war and he’ll end up back on his thorne. This word play is the same meaning as he’s saying he can rule it and still end up going to war and HWR would win again or go to war and still HWR would win again, because he could’ve stopped them from killing him but choose not to as he said he paved their way for this exact moment.
