By the time of this arc Gojo is only in his late 20s like 28 or 29 if I did the math right cause it takes place in 2018. that's still pretty young for some people to want kids. Also he's not the only one in the Gojo clan he's just the most prominent member. And also cursed techniques don't always pass down from parent to kid, it's like how some people "Twins skip a generation or 2 in my family" thing. Gojo is a prime example cause the Limitless Technique and the Six Eyes doesn't always go to the same kid born, the reason why is Spoilers, but that's why Gojo is so damn powerful cause he's the first of his clan in a long time to get both at once.

The thing people end up forgetting about that Gojo flashback is something Gojo himself mentioned before the Exchange event to the old principal of the Kyoto School. Something in the world was changing and creating these powerful anomalies (Todo, Yuta, Yuji/Sukuna, the Disaster Curses, probably Maki, Megumi, and others as well) and it only started with Gojo. It's not just about Gojo being born powerful, there's definitely some greater force moving things along to balance a world where Gojo exists.
