If you think he's one of the worst MCs in anime, respectfully you need to watch more anime. He is far from the worse. By far. Can his actions be grating, yes? Is he dumber than a sack of rocks at times? Also, yes. But it all makes sense. He is a cowardly middle school dropout who has to learn how to fight and/or outsmart foes ten times stronger and/or smarter than him all while seeing his closest loved ones die/suffer over and over again as he feels personally responsible. If you keep the context of all this in mind, he as a character makes so much more sense!

Leaving a comment doesn't take long, you're right, but why spend time complaining about a show if you don't enjoy it or no longer care about it? If I wasn't watching the new season of Tokyo Revengers, I would have skipped this post entirely. I suppose the important thing is that people are, for the most part, being respectful with their complaints. Depending on the series, these Patreon comment sections can get pretty heated when people talk shit about it.

Story aside, the S2 animation was kinda messy. I'm hoping things look better this time, but I'm not holding my breath. If it means they could have worked on the visuals some more, I wish they'd held off on dropping S3 until the Winter 2023 anime season. But now that Tokyo Revengers has returned, I'm excited to see what happens next.
