Honestly this is what anime should touch on with adaptions. Expand upon what was skipped in the manga either for time or just editor demand. I guess "good filler" is a term for it, but I think context is the better term for what this brings.

I'm a big Aizen fan, but when we see the way Urahara operates, I'm kinda sad he never took the role of "villain" post-Soul Society arc. He would make a believable "ends justify the means" antagonist, and it felt like we were going in that direction at one point in the show. Side note, but I recently learned that Kubo originally planned for Hanataro to be a villain, but then Kubo decided to bring Aizen back to life (either that, or Hanataro was supposed to join Aizen, Gin, and Tousen... but then it was ultimately decided against). I just can't picture it, but Urahara as a villain, that I could see.

Increase part seems like he make normally poisonous or lethal things non lethal. Say he takes in an opponents poison attack or fire attack and he increases the amount that is required to kill him or his allies. If that's the case it's really good support ability. But it looks like it has it's limits as it can't bend natural biological logic and reality. He can't make someone completely immune to say sword strikes, which is why I think he survived the sword guys attacks, but didn't come out unscathed. So in other words he can make non lethal things poisonous and lethal things non lethal, or that's my interpretation of it.

Not sure if anybody told you, but in the first manga chapter where Old Man Zangetsu is shown, the text bubble is literally covered in black ink when he introduces himself and attempts to say his true name, but found he could not - this is due to Ichibei likely using Ichimonji to erase Yhwach's name entirely to prevent him from resurrecting, but as we know he did anyways. Kubo had this planned for YEARS. If not for the Yhwach/ Zangetsu reveal, at least for Ichibei's abilities. Crazy to think lol

Yeah there were two ppl that gave ppl Aizen flashbacks. After watching Askin a bit more, the differences are more clear as Askin becomes his own character. But when he first appeared im sure 90% of ppl thought he was some Aizen ripoff. Its really just the slicked back hair and the one strand thats in front. The other one mentioned above gave SS Aizen vibes when he still looked like a normal dude lol

I think a better to understand way of putting it is, he has a vodoo doll like effect where he can ingest something (like someone's blood) and then has the ability to make it poison enough to kill anybody. I kinda hated how they worded it because it comes off as confusing with words like "increase and decrease the lethal dosage of substance" when all he needs to say is that "I can poison your blood by ingesting some of it into my own body."

It's mainly because of the hair. People haven't seen Aizen (without the bindings) in years but remember his iconic look. Askin hair is what got people's brains going to Aizen. Another dude, Hidetomo Kajōmaru, people thought was Aizen too. He was a nothing character and died immediately but look at the picture of him. He looks way more like Aizen back when Aizen was playing nice guy captain.

Squad 0 received much better treatment in the anime compared to the manga. The fight with the Royal Guard, particularly outside Ichibei and Yhwach, seemed to conclude right after Ouetsu got shot, and the fate of the rest of the squad was pretty much off-screened it made a lot of fans even question why they were gassed so much but the anime added a lot of context about where they stand power wise.

Considering that Domain Expansions were inspired directly from Bankai, many releases can function similarly. I believe Tousen's Bankai was the first we ever saw that could act as a 1 to 1 comparison

The fact I was hyped throughout these two episodes goes to show just how well the anime was able to enhance these moments in the manga because I only cared about Yhwach vs Ichibei before but Squad 0 showed why they deserve the recognition that they have.

That Senjumaru Bankai is basically a way better version of Rose's pathetic Bankai. It's a Stage Play type Bankai where it's indiscriminate on who's caught in it ( Shunsui said his Bankai is like this which is why he couldn't use it during the Fake Karakura Town Arc.). Stage Play Bankais are Bankai where it warps reality in an area and does what it does to anyone caught up in it. It's not combat orientated, it just flat out kills them in the most dramatic way it can based on what the theme of the Bankai is and this Bankai waved out 6 ways of killing them. Reflecting Lille's shots. Crushing Askin in a cage of spikes. Burying and suffocating Pernida. Freezing Gerard. Roasting Haschwalth. And in Uryu's case, depicting what Yhwach just did, the Auswählen, with a Quincy Cross in the sky draining his reiatsu until he kneels and dies. To the manga readers, we know exactly what we just saw. Also, I dunno if this is true, can someone confirm? I only heard about this from someone but apparently in some interview, Kubo said that they're gonna make big changes in the direction of the anime. Not sure what that means but I saw the trailer for the next cour and I think they'll keep major fights intact but maybe change or add context story elements like they did last episode with the Ichibe flashback.

The amount of anime original content in these last 2 Ep finale as the half way point of this whole arc, as well as the new abilities we got is overwhelmingly insane. Most of Squad 0 in the manga was glossed over and only gave shine to Ichibe and Oetsu (Zanpakuto Creator) due to time constraints, but here they all got a chance to shin effectively beating the fraud allegations, especially Senjumaru as the sewing/weaver goddess that has created the clothing of the soul reapers and who’s Bankai before now was never revealed- The Fate and Reality altering BAN-KAI: Shatatsu Karagara Shigarami no Tsuji (Crossing of the Old Woman's Gate, Kāla's Corpse and Thorny Entanglements): Upon activation, the area around Senjumaru is enclosed by darkness while a torii-like structure rises from the ground. Senjumaru then extends her arms towards the structure as if in prayer. Emitting iridescent light, the gate expands to form a massive golden loom and produces endless swathes of red cloth that envelop the entire scene. This release causes noticeable tremors across multiple dimensions, including the Soul Society and Human World. This Bankai’s Special Ability: Shatatsu Karagara Shigarami no Tsuji allows Senjumaru to manipulate the space within her Bankai—literally weaving and sealing victims within her clothwork of their own fate. Her weavings possess unique patterns and powers. What follows is specifically tailored “prison cells” made for killing each and specific individual enemy. The studio is low-key evil leaving anime onlys on that cliffhanger and we manga readers were expecting it to end another like 2-3 chapters ahead on Ch 611 with a big reveal beyond this point being mid Ch 609.” Final thoughts: While I can’t say that this part was better than part 1 due to the hype of having Bleach’s anime back as well as a far stronger and greater impact on the story plot setting up the whole arc, this part still had far greater consistent action animation as well as more characterization and extensions enhancing the manga, so for that reason, I’d say this part 2 was just as grandly good as part 1 for those different reasons. Part 3 is looking like it’s going to start off with a certified banger and be one for the history books predicted to come in the spring next year following a seasonal pattern. All that’s left is, I guess you could say Yhwach got Clapped Lmfao
