I get Sheeras point about Teddy (still dont like him this season though). But she's villanizing Franklin way too much by saying that everything is his fault. Everybody around Franklin (except Leon) are older than him, grown ups, and need to take some god damn accountability for the fact that they decided to be in the crack business, it was never gonna be safe. I'm sick of them always pointing fingers when shit goes south but never giving credit when Franklin has to sve their asses (Andre, Kevin, the whole manboy situation got resolved thanks to Franklin). So saying that you're in this situation because of Franklin is poor, you CHOSE to be in this situation. Louie litterally is the one who gave him the connect with Claudia. Jerome is the one who had the streets and connect to sell the product. Leon and Kevin were the ones who begged Franklin to get back into the business when he was considering leaving in the beginning of season 1. So please, enough with the pointing fingers at Franklin, it's getting old.

The issue I have with Sheera's point is that "The Operation" in question is the US using it's power to illegally, unlawfully, and just straight up take over a South American nation. Yes, he's the main character but everyone else has free will too. Teddy and Franklin really two sides of the same coin. Both logical and willing to do whatever it is to protect what they care about. To me the only difference between them is that I feel like Teddy’s obsession runs a bit deeper. He’ll always be looking for the next war or cause to support. Because he has no one the only thing he can validate himself with is his work and patriotism. Even when he had the chance to leave and be with his family he didn’t take it. Franklin on the other hand(even tho he shares similarities with reed) is motivated by Family and seems to really be ready to make the steps to move away from the drug game.
