2023-06-07 02:49:46 +0000 UTCI think when the Hisoka looking dude/gal said "you are probably subconsciously..." she was probably saying the reason he is so strong and durable is because he is subconsciously using that glowing power that Mei and the Tensen used. We saw Gabimaru's foot glowing with that one kick which did a lot of damage, so that might actually be the reason why he is so strong/durable because he doesn't know it but he is using that ability subconsciously. The reveals/info actually brings up a lot of questions because all these Tensen are.. plants/flowers? At least when they heal we see its plant stuff that reconstructs their bodies, and the Hisoka dude's actual form was a flower, but the Ninja Clan's Head is immortal too from what Gabimaru remembered, but he didn't have any plants growing out, the mystery might get super deep and interesting when they reveal more info about him. The fact that we already out here fighting against "Gods"/Tensen, but they have been providing bits and pieces of info about Gabimaru's clan's Head being an actual Problem, like is the old dude going to turn out to be the final boss? lolol. I am so happy the brothers didn't die, the blonde criminal quickly became one of my favorites, hope he survives.

Looking all simple n shit.” He looked at me & said “I guess we’ll find out”. I’m waiting to see why, & going anime only with this show just for that reason.

Gabimaru was probably a human who lived here and was taken by the shinobi leader after obtaining the elixir which is why he's the best in his clan as a shinobi. His foot even glowed as it hit one of the Tensen. The location Horai reminds me of the fountainhead palace where the nobles suck the life out of you. I imagine the messed up creatures are those that got "false" elixir while the Tensen are the fountainhead nobles that actually get the real elixir. I swear if Gabimaru gets a special red glowing flaming sword that happens to be called the mortal blade...

Since the Tensen are technically 7 beings split from one hermit, the beings were created in a special manner. The Elixer is basically made by the flowers grown through human Tao (male and female) and since plants are also both male and female, so are the Tensen; being created and sustained by the same mystical flowers. That's why they can change between the two genders.

Maybe it's because he has something that the Tensen and Mei have that allows them to use that power like some kind of blessing from the elixir and if it is I think his village chief probably gave it to him without his knowledge.

This is equivalent to reaching the end of tankōbon volume 3 of the manga. This season will likely adapt up to around chapters 43-44 (i.e. 70%-80% of tankōbon volume 5).
