Although I get what he's saying, you're right. That's for the extreme cases, usually the body builds up its temperature until the problem or "foreign agent" that's making you sick burns out. But if it's a tough thing to kill, and your body keeps the temperature up (either for more then 2-3 days or if the temperature itself gets too high ) then immediate medical attention is a must.

I get that but I'm not comparing myself to a child that went through a traumatic experiment. I get his stance but since they were so young I'm not surprised that they're parents didn't listen to him because most adults don't listen to kids anyway. He was down to earth in a sense but it still fractured their relationship in the end.
