There is no appeal other than it being a parody of Isekais. The underlying plot is boring, the side characters are boring. Cid being on screen is the only time the show is watchable and everyone is just waiting for him to say I am atomic and the 1 or 2 hype moments in the last 2 episodes lol

The fact is that Humans rly CAN'T have that much power. Look at cheaters like Cult of Diablos, yet they have ass-tier power compared to Cid + 7 Shadows. This has to do w/ the Diablos Cells implanted to the 3 Heroes, as it should be hereditary on genetic level, as it's what causes the Possession we saw in like E2 w/ the Alpha blob, which Cid stabilized & thus de-blob'd her back into humanoid form (and he also prevented Claire from getting blob'd to begin with by stabilizing her mana overload before it actually overloaded to begin with, which is why she's so fucking OP I assume, just like the 7 Shadows are, cuz that's what mana overload does to a mf once you stabilize its negative side-effects of infinite cell regen courtesy of Diablos' infinite rapid-speed self regeneration courtesy of her own cellular makeup)

If you're watching on 9anime, be aware that in one episode the subs are different, and the names aren't properly translated. It's only for one episode. I think it's episode 15 but someone should correct me if I'm wrong. So like, Perv Asshat is his name, but for ep 15 9anime got different subs whose translator didn't seem to get the name plays.
