This show's comedy has been so extra up to now that the cooking scene didn't feel that abnormal. But, for some reason I feel like there's more to the cream puffs than Mash just loving them.

I wasn't fcking with the first few episodes at all and idk if the director got a grip by now or the staff got warm with mashle but this is really good and im so grateful for it. sure mashle is no masterpiece but I was laughing tears reading the manga and I missed good comedy anime and this episode really delivered the vibe of the manga and made it even funnier + the animation got actually really good instead of the low quality meh stuff from the first few episodes.

It refers to the ability to use unorthodox means to solve a problem. If you used the posters your teacher put around the class on a test that they happened to be useful for, that would be considered cunning(not a bad thing though). Ambition is more obvious imo, it is def a positive tool for many good things. The thing about both these traits is that they can also be used negatively. Look at Dumbledore, he fits a Slytherin quite well, dude was def the most cunning and ambitious person in the book. Plus the part everyone will mention about merlin being a slytherin. Slytherins traits are just as important as all the others imo.
