I think they've mentioned before that they watch Netflix subs (which would be the ones you're referring to) but when they edit it for us to watch they change some subs around, although I'm not sure why. But I believe I've seen editors notes on other episodes.

So the phone call that came to the firefighter when she was escaping the spider, was that a hallucination? The scene immediately after that even pointed out how all cell phone services are out of service, so she can't have been receiving a call right? That would mean that she is in her early stages of infection too, I think/hope she can control it like the MC. Roshi if I understood it right, they said there is a "golden hour" where you can kill the infected but after they transform they are like nigh unkillable, remember the dude who got half his head chopped off and it didn't matter at all, so shooting won't do shit, don't bother it, just gotta sneak away from them or push them out the building somehow. (or i guess the army said setting them on fire works)

Honestly I didn't like either show lol. But definately prefer Sweet Home's writing to All of Us Are Dead. I feel like the setting in Sweet Home (the apartment complex) allowed for more branching plot points to happen simultenously. Like you have the group upstairs. And then you have the downstairs group and the downstairs group is then further divided into smaller groups. This does help develop the characters more. In All of Us Are Dead the main characters all stayed in one place.

I see your point. I definitely would’ve let her go. However I see where he probably didn’t want to risk opening the gates back up again and the tongue monster and more monsters coming in and killing all of them. Plus like most I think he fully believed that her daughter was dead anyways. That’s why he froze like that. He was shocked and didn’t know what to do in that moment. Which ended up saving his life in a messed up way. If he had either he would’ve died or maybe more would’ve died. Either way it’s a tough situation/decision. That’s why being the leader sucks. It’s a thankless job

I agree and disagree just a little bit. I agree that all of us are dead was also an ensemble however I thought writing for the characters and the screen time/for these characters could’ve been better. With sweet home I felt that the characters were more evenly spread or balanced overall

Tbf I think All of Us Are Dead was also more of an ensemble, hell the guy who looked like closest to being the main character didn't even survive. I was talking more about this weird character trope that a lot of Zombie kdrama's seem to share. For example another character archtypes I have seen is the asshole guy trope. It's the shopkeeper here and the invincible zombie guy in All of us are dead. And like other Kdrama character archtypes they share a lot of mannerisms. Like the way they speak with pausing a lot and saying stuff like 'Why you.....'

I agree that he should’ve let her find her daughter. But I see why he didn’t. I mean think about it. There’s still so much they don’t understand about these monsters and their abilities/intelligence. That was especially proven when that tongue monster had enough foresight to hide in waiting for someone to come out and kill them. Even before that in episode 1 when they opened the gate the first time and immediately it started attacking. I think he didn’t want to risk it . That’s what I mean by being pragmatic. Not just for everyone’s survival but your own as well.

I mean if he was pragmatic he would let her leave. She has already shown to be a liability. She endangered everyones lives and there is a very high likelihood she will develop a grudge against the group since she clearly blames them for her daughters death. A good leader would make her leave or even kill her. Also it's not like she is a very valuable member of the group. She isn't a fighter or a strategist and doesn't contribute much.

They rushed so much of the explainations from the Webcomic but at the same thing there are large chunks of the episode where nothing happens. Like I swear 10 minutes of the run time is just characters staring at each other. Wook Pyeon (Wesker guy) annoys me for some reason.
