This is a prequel with a different focus and they also stretched to turn it into a full season. And it's kinda obvious that it's animated by a different studio and doesn't have the budget of the main series. Only thing that doesn't make sense is how Megumin's only level 6 at the start of season 1. She already gained at least 2 levels from the ducks, perhaps a 3rd from monster killing classes. And she blew up all the 'flying chicken', in terms of kills she should be level 10+ easily by now and like 15-20 by the time she joins the party.

Yunyun is the only normal Crimson Demon, she doesn't enjoy being extra like the rest of the Crimson Demons. 17:00 They call it joke magic because it is impractical, to use it once and be too tired to move for the rest of the day.

this series isnt nearly as good as the original. the strength of the original was the ensemble cast and how they played off each other. meguimins funny because shes a chuuyubio wierdo. when everyones a chuuyubio wierdo it kinda detracts from the gag. plus the characters are a bit different from how they are in the original series. i cant quite put my finger on it.

It's a comedy, though. Like, why so serious? It's already been established that it's a bunch of nonsense, so why treat it like it's supposed to be anything remotely serious? Who cares about the decisions? They're Crimson Demons, they give zero fucks. Their only fear is not being cool. XD Anybody with half a brain can surmise all this from just one or two episodes of this. It's this thing called common sense.

I mean Crimson Demons ARE genetically engineered Supersoldiers for a reason, so makes sense you'd encode them on genetic level w/ the basics like mana flow control etc from the getgo, because otherwise they'd be useless as supersoldiers for your kingdom etc. It truly is appropriate that the only ones to survive the total annihilation of the Kingdom of Norse, would be the supersoldiers who were in such a remote area of the kingdom, since that spot is basically a Black Site of sorts for obvious reasons Also ay LMAO Megumin nutted so hard she literally passed out from the climax

I think that we will see season 1 of konosuba again, in this season, except with Megumin's POV as the protagonist. I don't think they can continue a story about Megumin without Kazuma, Aqua, and Darkness for another 7 episodes.
