Only thing that gives me away is my hair but I keep it short. I also feel for him. Being mixed is tough on how you identify. You were raised learning both cultures and languages but one day someone tells you "Know you're just Black." it kind of is upsetting. In my mind I'm a black man and I'm an Asian man.

2023-04-26 02:29:48 +0000 UTCits illegal to record someone without their permission in PRIVATE but its ok in public which is why folks get away with recording folks in public for their youtube/vlogs. thats how business are allowed to have cameras outside their businesses which are recording several feet away them and recording folks just passing by. and rather or not if its admissable is up to the judge's discretion. he/she can allow it or not as long as its LEGALLY obtained. so if i record you and sheera without either of your knowledge, its not usable. but if SHEERA records you, due to the one party law it is no longer an illegal recording and can be used. in law, just like in life, there are always exceptions and loopholes. The federal statute covering the interception and disclosure of wire communications is codified at 18 U.S.C. § 2511. The statute is the blueprint for many of the state statutes in this area of the law. It requires one-party consent and states it is not unlawful "for a person not acting under the color of state law to intercept a wire, oral, or electronic communication where such person is a party to the communication or where one of the parties to the communication has given prior consent to such interception unless such communication is intercepted for the purpose of committing any criminal or tortuous act in violation of the Constitution or laws of the United States or of any state." 18 U.S.C. §2511(d).

2023-04-26 00:47:12 +0000 UTChonestly this is so true. i have this dumb way of putting it - yi seo is living like she's in a kdrama lmao. soo-ah is living like this is real life. lol yi seo is a 20 year old genius who can get whatever she wants in life. she literally can decide to not go to college and help support her crush's pub lol and not really have her future impacted by that in the long term even if it went south. soo-ah hates hand outs but couldnt say no to one so good for her future as an orphan, hence her accepting it but crying to saeroyi about it while he was in prison. ofc a real person would struggle to quit after basically being groomed since high school and rising up the ladder at their job for several years. and ofc yi seo can do all these crazy sacrifices for the one guy she loves him as an already independent 20 year old. not knocking either of them rn just thinking aloud after reading your comment

2023-04-25 23:47:08 +0000 UTCI will always love the show's parallels with Soo-Ah and Yi-Seo - Soo-Ah never supports Saeroyi, makes sure to let him know she will ALWAYS put Jangga and herself above him, she accepted Jangga's scholarship and job offer and continuously undermines Saeroyi. Meanwhile when faced with the same options Yi-Seo endlessly supports Saeroyi and would never take a job with Jangga out of sheer spite for the chairman and respect for Saeroyi. For someone who hates hand-outs, Soo-Ah takes a lot of them and Yi-Seo would rather work from the ground up than accept anything from anyone. Mad respect for Yi-Seo and her character development for the sake of being a good manager for DanBam and Saeroyi!

He is not really aware of social cues and half the time can’t really read between the lines unless someone spells it out for him😭. So unless you say “I like you” to him, he won’t get it. Which is why he always openly says “I like you”to Soo-ah cause to him that’s the only way he knows someone is supposed to share their feelings for another.He doesn’t get when situations are awkward either. Also about the recording thing, so at least in Canada where I’m from and i believe some places in America, as long as YOU yourself are in the conversation, you are allowed to record. You cannot record someone else’s conversation, unless at least one other person in that conversation knows you are recording them. So If the law works like that in Korea, since yi-seo is in the conversation it could be permissible in court, and if not permissible in court, would technically still be legal.
