Yeah we saw the locket from her father, then her locket, so I thought there might be more story with her if she did survive, like she turned into a girl when the monster disintegrates, then we don't see the girl form, so I thought maybe Alpha took her away and we have not seen her yet? I don't think she has come up again, so maybe they are still hiding/training her or she died ;/

Nu was going to kill Marco because he probably abandoned her when she turned into a blob monster (like all the other girls in shadow garden) and that was her first time seeing him since then and she was probably pissed. She mentioned during her introduction that she was NOT as nice as Cid, meaning she is unforgiving.

I think Lupa is still sort of misunderstanding Cid and his character. I understand where he is coming from in thinking maybe its a play to leave his role at school and become shadow full time but the dude is putting on a show no matter what or who or where he is. He still thinks they are putting on an entire show with the shadow garden shit they are doing.

it's pretty straight forward lmao. Ep1 was a prologue an introduction to his character through the eyes of someone else. He then died...he was reborn in a fantasy world that has magic...and he made use of that magic. Unless this is your first Isekai, then sorta I understand your confusion.

Yeah, magic is a /huge/ deal in regards to combat competence. Like, removing it from play for one person (but not the other) is like breaking a limb and them realistically not being able to fight nearly as well as they would have. Don't think we've yet seen the kind of monster that can pull off the same feats without, even Cid is nigh-constantly using it.

I dont know if they said outright or if its just heavily implied, but I think everyone in shadow garden are loyal cuz they got turned into those flesh blob monsters and saved by Sid or the original 7 that Cid saved... so Im guessing that Nu's betrothal issue and her dropping out of school (flashback from the other episode) have to do with her becoming all gross monster blob... possibly everyone thinks she is dead.

Most people in this world are more focused on how much magical power they have and don't really focus on how to control it but Cid made sure to focus on the control aspect of magic which is why he can make threads of magic despite his magic being obstructed by the artifact.
