On Trigger Warnings, Tagging, and Trying to Be Thoughtful Without Sounding Like a Signpost

So.
Here’s a little note about content warnings, because I’ve been rethinking how I structure posts lately, and it seemed worth saying out loud. Or… typing quietly.

I’ve never been the sort of creator who slaps “Trigger Warning” at the top of every post. Not because I don’t care, quite the opposite, but because I’ve always assumed the tagging did the heavy lifting. If you’ve been here a while, you know I over-tag like I’m being paid by the keyword. No one’s going in blind unless they actively shut their eyes.

That said, in shifting how I lay out posts (trying to make them a bit clearer, a bit less “guess the tone”), I thought:
Right. Maybe it wouldn’t hurt to have a dedicated section for specific concern topics. The bits that can catch someone off-guard, even with all the tags.

So, going forward:

The goal isn’t to spoil anything. It’s to give people a bit of breathing room before the intensity lands.
It’s the difference between someone knocking politely vs. kicking the door in.

Anyway. That’s the new plan.
Tags stay. Warnings get clearer. Hopefully the stories stay strange and wayward and manageable.

🐸 MUPPET SPEAK TRANSLATION:

Me used to just put lots of tags. Like, a lot. All the tags.
Me thought that was enough. Maybe it still is. But maybe also… not always.

So now:

Me no want to spoil, but me also no want to jump-scare feelings.
Me care. Me tag. Me try best.

End of update. Me return to strange noises now.
