She sits there, staring, big, tragic eyes, like some Dickensian orphan who’s never known a proper meal. Never mind the fact that I know she had dinner. And a sneaky biscuit. And possibly another sneaky biscuit when she did the whole “I’m so small and vulnerable” routine for my brother.
Honestly, I think I’m being played.
Anyway, hope you’re all doing well and not being emotionally manipulated by a tiny, fluffy con artist. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go explain the concept of “you just ate” to someone who definitely won’t believe me.
