Tonight’s Stream Isn’t Happening - This Month’s Been a Mess

Hey everyone,

Just a heads-up that tonight’s livestream isn’t happening. I know it’s another cancellation, and you all deserve to know what’s been going on.

I’ve been at the hospital with my dad for eight hours now, waiting on a transfer. He’s finally stable enough to be moved closer to home, but the wait has been endless. My dad has diabetes, but he hasn’t been managing it well—sneaking sweets, not being honest about his blood sugar, and it’s all caught up with him. He recently went into a diabetic coma, and now he’s dealing with complications like diabetic nephropathy (kidney issues), diabetic macular oedema (vision problems), and peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage). It’s been a lot, and it’s draining for everyone involved.

On top of this, I’m balancing care for my mum, who has COPD, and my autistic, legally blind banshee. Every day is a constant juggle to keep things going, and it’s kept me from being here as much as I’d like. I miss streaming and it’s frustrating not to be able to do that right now.

Thank you for sticking with me and for being so patient this month. It genuinely means a lot. And please, if you or anyone you know has diabetes, don’t take it lightly. Seeing what happens when it’s ignored isn’t something I’d wish on anyone.
