"Where are we going?" Two walked together through the streets of the capital with a woman in tow. .

"To the supermarket, Amelia. I thought we could do some shopping along with you."

The blonde man who held onto her chain answered her.

"Hmm? You want to buy something from there?"

"Yeah.. also, we thought to gift you a nice dress."

 Amelia laughed along with the boys at the pun, before shaking her head.

"I don't need it, Shaun. I got plenty of clothes to go around."

"It's fine Mrs. Amelia. You have helped us a lot. It's only natural that we gift you something, especially since you refuse to accept payments."

 The redhead noticed that were pretty serious about this and hence decided not to argue with them.

Once they had dropped off their vehicle to take this long walk in the core of the city, she attracted a lot of eyeballs, simply because there were many people on the streets here compared to the downtown area.

There were small shops on both sides of the road, with people busy selling their goods to the customers.

People in the core of the capital were financially more capable. This is reflected in the high-class shops here.

Even from the outside, Amelia can see the price tags on the dress. She can only smile wryly because almost all of them exceeded her budget multiple times over.

She was confident in her charms as a woman. The group kept traveling for a few more minutes when they stopped in front of a multistorey building.

The redhead had to raise her head high to read the name of the shop.

 She almost collapsed when she noticed the name on the structure.

Lavender Trading Company was not your everyday seller.

This group controlled almost all the trade in the country. Their dominance in the sector can be ascertained just based on the fact that despite having no portfolios in the lucrative weapon market, they were still able to stand toe to toe with the Azure Merchant guild.

"What happened? Aren't you coming?"

She asked in surprise. As far as she knew, although Shaun belonged to a rich family, he was still not someone the Lavender Company would value.

Shaun boasted while patting Amelia's head earnestly.

They climbed the majestic stairs, covered with a velvety red carpet. Even from the outside, the building was beaming luxury.

"May I have your invitation cards, sirs?"

 Amelia stood at the door watching the two boys flip out a standard-looking card to the maid.

They can't even enter this place without a card? Never in her life had Amelia come across this much extravagance.

 She observed the maid carefully scan the card before her eyes looked down at her.

 "What about her? Do you have an invitation for her as well?"
