My joyful return to the stage, this video is the filmed version of a live performance that concluded my choreographer-in-residency.
It's also the first time y'all get to see previously rehearsed dancing on my Patreon! Everything else has been pure improv up until now, even the burlesques.
It contains two pieces:
"The Fox"--In which we observe the misadventures and eventual escape to freedom of a mystical half-fox, half-woman; and
"The Bridge to Saint Nizier"--In which a sex worker contends with a vastly new landscape in her chosen profession, discarding garments with which build a bridge to the promised land.
This performance was so intensely emotional. At the end, there has been a feeling of massive accomplishment, the slaying and discarding of myriad demons, and a kind of peace, knowing I can perform again with this level of artistic and public success before I launch myself across the ocean!!! to become the Siren of Berlin, blowing everyone's Gehirn with my ravishing burlesque en pointe.
