Added 2025-02-21 13:00:16 +0000 UTCpatrons, here is your first bonus episode for February 2025. folks, we're back with a review of season 2 of Netflix's Castlevania Nocturne, which premiered earlier this year. after our review of season 1, we decided to come back for more and it was the right choice. season 2 outdoes the first in every way with better fights, better pacing, and the introduction of your totally sincere, ultra-woke boyfriend. while others may be de-emphasizing diversity these days, Nocturne embraces it and turns Richter into a boyfriend so woke he should be cringe but is, instead, amazing. also, there's a purple dragon and a number of gods and the moonlight greatsword and maybe the end of days and, most confusing of all: rock-jawed Chad Robespierre is leading the people of France. join us for all the fun, won't you?

Damn straight Bavarians are the Texans of Germany. Everyone else in the world thinks all of Germany is like that. They think they're the only _real_ Germans. And the rest of Germany just thinks "Arschlöscher". One conclusion l came to after living in Europe for a while was "every country has its Texas", and those are basically my three requirements for a place to be "the Texas of <country>"
