In this episode, we talk through Day Three at the abbey, wherein there are more mysteries, more murder most foul, and a ton of character development for our narrator Adso. While trying to unravel the mystery of Fra Dolcino and why he means so much to William, Adso also learns how to be a good detective, has some casual sex with a peasant woman, and finds a dead body. We also discuss Eco's repeated dialogues about Late Medieval heretical movements and how they are early signifiers of class antagonism before class consciousness could exist.
