Day 45/365 Power
Added 2022-10-15 13:00:17 +0000 UTCIt was the season finale yesterday and I am somehow glad that it finished.
I am a big Tolkien fan and I had to watch "The Rings of Power".
I didnt like it but I didnt hate it. Most of the cast is bad but there were a lot of easter eggs that kept me in front of the screen.
I do miss the old elfs, I do miss Peter Jackson's world but at the end some content is better that no content in my opinion.
What do you guys think?

2022-10-23 11:18:44 +0000 UTCI am not against what happens in RoP. It is hard to rewrite or write missing parts of Tolkien's work. They do mess up the timeline a bit but ... it is still somehow ok. I have a problem with the execution of what they wrote. And the some of the cast. And how the elves look like :D
2022-10-23 11:07:38 +0000 UTCMeh As new fiction not wholly (or in many scenes not even partly) supported by anything Tolkien wrote. However, when considered more from a perspective of “this is the missing history” that is, although Tolkien never wrote of these events to this detail, it might or could have been so written… if you follow my disillusioned logic? For example, there is no recording of how the Ishtari arrive to Middle Earth, only that they do… so- why not fall in a fiery meteoric impact? And discovered by Hobits to explain why gandolf has a fondness for them? Anyway… now I am just rambling. So… yeah… meh
