Hi everyone, sorry there's only an hour until this goes live.
We've had a really hard time recently with a few personal things. The main time-consuming thing has been trying to find a house to buy which has been an absolute nightmare. The UK property market is soooooo horrendous... and I was an estate agent for 10+ years and I cannot believe the state of it. We've offered since January on 5 houses. First, we got gazumped, the second was accepted but the survey revealed it needed about £50k of work which we can't do, third we won a sealed bid where we even went £16,500 over the asking price and then 2 weeks later the owner pulled out claiming stress... Fourth, we offered over the asking price but they said they want to leave it on the table just in case they get a better offer finally, we've managed to find one and they have accepted our offer with no funny business... But, bearing in mind our luck so far and the dozens of properties we have viewed, I am terrified something is going to go wrong.
I think this has affected my work and my reach as I'm having a downturn on YouTube too which you have probably noticed.
I've only had time to make content rather than spend any time analysing the channel to strategically make videos that will do well and be fun for me. This is also the reason why I haven't done hardly anything for ages regarding Instagram/YT Community tab/Twitter trolling pictures etc.
Worse than all of this, my husband's cousin Daniel who was only 40 years old sadly died unexpectedly. Being the "video people" in the family, we've been tasked with making the videos for the service and the wake, which is hard for a multitude of obvious reasons.
So, providing we don't have to go looking for more bloody houses, hopefully we can get back on track. I really need to, cos the channel is nottttt doing well at the moment which is really stressing me out in all honesty.
