now, in this episode, Luke and Eleanor discuss how people in the Middle Ages dealt with mourning the recently deceased and how their bodies were given proper burials, usually. then again, some weren't so lucky, especially if the locals feared their body might rise from the grave to haunt the living. check it out!

This was super interesting! I remember when they reconstructed the park around a church (1600s, so not even that old) in my city the papers tried to make a big deal out of all the bones popping up left and right which was very funny. Re: the brief grave field talk at the end, grave fields are the best honestly. I think my favourite non-Neolithic graves are stone ships (look up Ale’s Stones for a really cool one! esp. aerial photos)
