True enough. There was a disappointing lack of kunoichi powerhouses in Akatsuki. Almost seems to have implied that kunoichi were more loyal to their villages or at least less likely to actively rebel like the other members. I suppose Konan will always be the poster girl of Akatsuki. Wish I knew something about that girl on the left. I just remember it was her corpse used as the latest summoning branch of Pain (don’t remember the name of the Path). I don’t remember any backstory or even a name being mentioned in the series. Though, I suppose that’s true for just about every Path besides Yahiko being the Deva(?) Path.
