Film Review - Rendez-Vous (1976)

Hey Patrons,

After the epic of Grand Prix we take things down a few gears and experience some Parisian cinema verite in the form of the 8-minute short film "C’était un Rendez-Vous".

Filmed in a single take on the live streets of Paris, this 70's joyride through the French Capital has plenty of moments for the three of us to discuss.

As if that wasn't enough we also talk about Ferrari's spiritual successor "Le Grand Rendez-Vous" and Danny tells the story of how his stolen car reappeared full of questionable items. Which  also explains why this one is coming so late in the month. Sorry about that.

Strap in mon amis!

Comments

I don't know what's better. You guys gushing over a film or you guys ripping it apart.

Hi. Would you consider doing Taxi by Luc Beeson? https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0152930/ The sequel is equally as good as the first installment, but the rest of the series goes down hill. There is a cameo of Sylvester Stallone in one of the sequels. You could also include a brief review of the godawful Hollywood remake... https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0316732/ It's so very very very bad!
