[Edited!] Chapter update delayed for 1 day + Q&A questions!

The ideal would always be to continue working on Take Off - I love the boys a lot and have ideas jot down for more of their story to be told!! But as a creator I'd love to have a finished project, and Take Off was always intended to end soon, and I want to uphold that. If there's more it'd probably feel more like a spin off or a new series, and I'd love to work on that, but I would need some time to properly write the story and have enough prepped to be comfortable announcing that!! And that could be weeks, months, years, even.
In the past 10 months working on Take Off, what had always been key in driving me to create and tell the stories of my characters was having a clear structure in mind, and wanting to do it justice and reach the envisioned closure I had for it. Thinking about ideas and writing them down is fun, but what I find really exciting is thinking about how I would manifest them in the medium of comics, and in the process improve as a storyteller. I'm unable to promise or guarantee that there would be more, despite personal wants of drawing more of Andrew and Nathan, because it would honestly stress me out as I start to think about how unready I am to embark on this. I understand the process is different for everyone, and I know some creators who are able to write as they go, and for me it just isn't possible.
Beyond this I also think about the other stories and ideas I have - completely new stories - and I want to work on them too. If I didn't have to pick and choose, I'd love to be able to manage multiple projects at once, but before that I'd need to figure out how to make it feasible, and that would require prep time too, to try juggling multiple projects, perhaps hire assistance, and see how that plays out, before I'm able to set anything in stone.
I understand the wishy washy-ness of all this can be confusing and exhausting, it's like me saying I don't want to keep people's hopes up but there is still a possibility?!?! Therefore I'd love if you can see Take Off, with the 45 chapters and all, as the complete story. It is going to end, and if there's more, it will be something different. I'm really grateful for the support and encouragement that I've received from the beginning to current, and so so so happy to see the love you all have for Andrew and Nathan, and to know you'd be excited for the new stories I may tell, is beyond anything I could hope for. I don't know how this has become an essay, but I hope this answers any doubts you may have, and perhaps, part of why I had written this, was for myself, too.

Hi everyone,
The next chapter update for all tiers will be delayed for a day! Chapters will be out on Friday (August 13th) at around 9pm EST!! And the same goes for updates on Webtoons. I apologize for the delay, and really appreciate your patience in all this!
On a side note: I have plans for Take Off to end at around Chapter 45, which means it's pretty soon!!! I would love to do a Q&A near the end, and because I'm a turtle, I thought it wouldn't hurt to prep for this a little earlier! Therefore, please leave any questions you have for the characters/the series/the process(?) in the comments!!!
There's no deadline to when you need to submit questions by (I suppose as long as it's before Ch45 is first released on Patreon!) So feel free to come back to this post whenever with your questions!! :)

I hope I’m not too late for Q&A! I’ll ask just in case! 1. Do the boys take each other around their homes back in Taiwan/Hong Kong? 2. What is Nathan’s favorite night market street food? What is Andrew’s favorite? 3. What will they do on their first date? 4. Will Nathan ever repay Andrew for how much he makes him blush? I love Take Off so much even my mama knows! Every time there’s an update she knows I’m laughing at this comic, and any other time I laugh she’s like “But it’s not Thursday!” I’m like.. Ma…. YOU RIGHT🤣🤣🤣

I've grown so attached to the boys in such a short span of time and you've done such an amazing job writing them!!! So thank you!!! Hm also maybe what your desk setup is like and what art supplies you use for traditional and digital aspects of it. Also compared to first idea of the chapter vs the final work. If I think of any other questions I’ll ask later on. On a side note though congratulations on finishing this comic. It’s an amazing work that has captured the hearts of many. I look forward to your future endeavors. Know that you are an amazing artist and even though it’s hard at times know you did an amazing thing by creating this work and all the art in general. I would like to know some of the answers to these questions (which may or may not be answered in the upcoming 5 chapters) Do the boys plan to stay together? Nathan, what do you enjoy the most about Andrew's writing? Andrew, what is your favorite thing about Nathan? Jui, what was your favorite part of creating this comic? And as much as I would love to see some deep throated carrots, I will not request that to be drawn lol. I will seriously miss this series though and I cannot wait for the next one!! <3

So no pressure or anything but I promise there is interest besides me, if you wanted to take on that project!! As someone obsessed with home maker shows I'm wondering what the boys' room aesthetics are? And a follow up: if they were to move in together, would they mix their styles together or would one of them get their way?

(For some reason I can see Nathan having something super cute and tender then growing up into a troublemaker) 2) how do Nathan and Andrew’s friends feel about how they met? Wanna hear or see them go al mushy over it 3) what are their go to karaoke songs or activities 4) what would be the song they play for their first dance at their wedding? 5) does write a script based on how they met? IS THIS COMIC THE SCRIPT OMG Do what you want with what I said above :)

Haha) but yeah, it was really nice to know the story evolved exactly the way you wanted it to from the beginning even if it means it's shorter than we wanted to Overall i think we all agree that it was a really good story, well written, likable characters and author, and the occasional spice here and there😋 we will for sure miss the sweet babies!! I'll be here waiting to see what new exciting ideas you bring in the future!!
