Female Link Friday - Power Up Super Bell

A long, long time ago... In a a galaxy most furthest away from here... I drew a collection of Links inspired by various Mario power ups.

The previous two weeks featured illustrations of the "Super Leaf" and "Fire Flower." With this third image, I've remade the entire trilogy.

I was worried about this particular piece because I don't like the original 2015 sketch. It was boring (in terms of composition), inconsistent with the tunic design (I struggled to translate the catsuit), and the sexy direction compromised the design. This modern take deviates a bit from that design, so I suppose it's not a faithful remake, however.

I think the full-body Mario cat suit would look a bit weird on a body with proportions like this and it limits the kinds of shapes I could use. I did consider making the tunic pink, but then I could not have given her pink hair... And I think one of the interesting things about this set is that each Link has different hair colours. I guess if anyone's super disappointed about that, I could reconsider this direction, but I doubt that'll be the case.
