Hello patron!
In Japan, January 10th was Adult's Day. It was a three-day weekend, and I took it easy on Saturday and Sunday, but I thought it would be wrong to be lazy for three days in a row, even though it was a holiday, so I did my first distribution work of the year. I started drawing this picture at about 1:50 AM.
I didn't decide what I was going to draw, but I decided to draw a New Year's greeting card-like picture. This is my original character, Viola. I thought I could have made it a little more like a New Year's card by adding writing, decorations, patterns, etc., but I have to work from the beginning of the week, and it wouldn't feel like a Happy New Year if I carried it over to next week, so I cooked quickly. It took me about 8 hours to draw the whole thing from rough to finished. (I painted the background offline after the delivery was over.) I hope to continue to do this kind of speed painting in the future.
I have a medium- to long-term goal for this year, but I haven't set it in stone. There are a lot of things I want to do and a lot of things I can do, so for the time being, I'm just trying to keep a balance and be flexible, starting with what I can do and working my way up.
As far as I can tell, my goals for this year are...
-Create 5 new original characters
-Create a coterie magazine (summer or winter comics)
-Improve my basic drawing skills (human body drawing, landscapes, etc.)
-Learn new digital drawing skills
-Purchase my own car (my third car in 20 years)
-Get a motorcycle license (New!)
Let's take care of our health and do our best this year!
Thanks!
