Protestants genuinely believe God wrote the book himself, or he he directly spoke in someone’s ear, and they wrote it. Catholicism is based on teaching from the Bible, passed down traditions and the pope, Protestantism is based completely on the Bible. There’s no pope there’s no traditions whatever the book says goes, there’s no room for nuance or human understanding/error.
