August Update

Hey all, the summer (or winter, depending on where you are) is really flying by, huh? Welcome to all of the new patrons, I'm so thankful for your support! And for all of you who have been here a while, you're AWESOME!! 💖 I'm here to drop another monthly update to keep you all in the loop with my progress!

ML Office AU Arc 5 - The script has been written and out of the 15 voice actors I've hired, I'm only waiting on 4 to deliver their lines!! I guess excluding me, I still need to record mine 😅 If you attended or watched the past 3 streams, I worked together with some of you to redesign Marinette's class from the show for Arc 5, so now that that's done I need to move on to outfits and environments. I'm going to try and teach myself the basics of Blender so I can purchase a 3D model of a ballroom and render out toon shaded images for the second half of the arc instead of drawing them by hand. It will take more time in pre-production to get this going, but it will save so much time and be way worth it down the line. Hopefully I can figure it out 🤞

ML Office AU Merch - I FINALLY finished sketching out all of the pages for the look book! I've been chipping away at the line art all week and have already lined 9 illustrations out of 44, so I'm excited to get this done. I still need to order the pin and lanyard, finish packaging the charms, and print out all of the ID cards. I'm debating whether I should do a second pin or a standee 🤔 I also need to find a manufacturer to create a nice box for the set - I absolutely love packaging design and really want to make something professional (if it works out, there will be a limited number of box set editions and then each piece will also be sold individually). I have also been thinking of a drama cd, but that's a project for another time 😉

Other stuff - I caved and decided to participate in Kacchako (My Hero Academia) week over on twitter. It's been really nice to work on something outside of the Office AU, plus I've been wanting to draw them more and this gives me a good excuse 😎 I'll be posting all of the drawings at the end of the week here and who knows, maybe I'll sell prints?? 👀

Please note that I will be away from August 11-15 for a camping trip, so either the Thursday stream will be moved to Tuesday or there will be no stream next week (I'll let you all know).
