Q&A - Antonella

Someone sent me a DM asking for some questions to Antonella and they were fine with me sharing it to all of you! If any of you want to sent questions to any of my OC's I will make sure you have them answered as soon as possible :) feel free to DM me. Me posting them here or not is your decision!

So here you have it:

-"I believe that you mentioned that you mutated later in life than most women - in your mid-thirties as opposed to your teenage years. Was it harder to adapt to your mutations since they occurred long after you became an adult? Did you know that you were going to mutate at some point in your life - meaning, did you get tested for the mutant gene?"

A: "I'm currently 31 years old and I'm close to my fourth anniversary as a mutant. I honestly don't know how hard it could been if I was younger or a teenager when it happened since every mutation has different adaptation periods and their own conditions. However, I adapted really quick to my mutation... around a couple of days, at least in terms of controlling my extra parts. When it comes to my mind actually getting used to be a mutant that's a whole different story, even today there's some mornings where I wake up and observe my own body in disbelief hehe. In terms of the mutant gene, nope! I didn't got a mutant gene test before my mutation and either have a family member that is a mutant so it came out as a welcome surprise"

-"Since you have two heads, does that mean you have two brains? Do you still have one mind and one consciousness?"

A: "Correct! Both of my heads have their own independent brain, which means I have two fully functional brains. The only real difference bewteen my heads are the place where they are and that my tail head has a longer tongue. My consciousness is a bit harder to explain, is like having two inner 'me' in my mind all the time. I can hear both of my brains thoughts and take independent decisions with both of them. With enough practice I'm able to separate my brains temporarily, which is something I use to have some fun sometimes or to have someone to talk to~"

-"Can you speak through your tail head just like you can with your original head?"

A: "Oh absolutely! My tail head is completely functional, I can talk, breath and even eat with it. I can also have two different conversations at the same time if I want to too~"

-"In one of the Accessland magazines, you were featured in a story where you were avoiding jogging because it made your tail head dizzy. As someone who experiences dizziness sometimes, I know how unpleasant that feeling can be. Were you able to figure out how to get cardiovascular exercise without making your tail head dizzy?"

A: "Ugh yeah, dizziness isn't fun. Is something I didn't had to deal with before my mutation, but you know... having a head on top of a tail that is bouncing when I run could be a problem. I don't have any trouble if I walk normally since is easier to compensate the movements with just moving my tail in the opposite direction, but for running is way harder to coordinate that. In the day you mentioned, Sophie and Lucy helped me out by suggesting coiling my tail around my waist so I can keep my tail still. That helped a lot and if I do it properly I can even look to my back as I run which is kinda fun if I'm honest hehe. After that day I have been practicing  and getting better in compensating the movements with my tail so I can jog without coiling it around my waist since that heats up my body faster (It kinda works like a flesh scarf)"

-"Do you ever experience anxiety? What do you do to calm your nerves?"

A: "Unfortunately I deal with a lot of anxiety, and no... having two brains didn't solved the problem haha! For calming my nerves I usually play games, or you know... I do what a lot of people in my position would do with a mutant body like this hehe. When anxiety goes so hard I try to rest and I keep trying my best! :) :) if you have any magic way to solve anxiety let me know!"

-"You seem like a really nice person. How do you keep a positive outlook on life?"

A: "Aww thank yo so much ♥ I always keep looking for making people happy and for sharing a good vibe (even during the days I don't really have it) I try my best to look at the possitive sides of things and to don't worry much about the things in life that I can't change. I think that's how I'm able to keep going every day :)"

-"One last question - what is your ethnicity? I am Italian but was raised in the USA"

A: "My last name is Carmine, which comes from Italy too! I know my great grandfathers came from Italy but since that my family have been born and raised in USA. I particularly spent my whole life in Port Solei :)"
