idea of an royal AU (aelyney)

so basically aether is a prince/ almost about to be king of nation A and lyney is the greatest performer of nation B, and these two nations was having conflicts against each other for a while. one day, lyney's city was attacked and they kidnapped him and bring him to aether's castle to make him do the entertainments for aether before killing him like everyone else.
aether, on another hand, finds this magician interesting and decided to keep him by his side. lyney in the mean time tries his best to seduce aether and to find a chance to end aether's life. aether knows his plan but didnt try to stop him or anything, its the "i owned you too much so i'd let you do anything to me" kind of trope.
but in the end lyney's plan doesnt work cause he realized aether was not the one who started the war (also the one who tried to stop his dad from attacking) then fell in love w the prince and aether did too. war ended since aether officially become king.
