That part of the war, is the part i usually skip, ngl. The reunions are a nice idea, but done bad. Author wanted to cook... but as they said, shinobi should be at big disadvantage, but massive amounts of plot armour just happen there sadly. Feels more like Kabuto was doing the Shinobi Alliance a favor, leting them meet their friends/comrades/families XD

Also keep in mind. We haven’t seen Kabuto in a while and in order for the reanimation to work he has to fetch certain bodies. Like actually find them and prepare them to be used for the jutsu. At least that’s how I remember it

So basically whatever the dead have unfinished business with in this case Sai's brother not seeing the drawing and him wanting to see but dying before he could. So if they finish whatever unfinished business they have the sould will be released.

Guys remember Kabuto had said a few episodes ago that for some of the reanimated shinobi, he would leave their personalities intact in order to mindf**k the shinobi having to kill their loved ones. This emotional trigger to free the soul can only be used on those shinobi if someone can trigger that strong emotion. That aside, I PROMISE u guys are NOT READY for the rest of this war. I cant wait to see when you get to one SPECIFIC episode! I have goosebumps just thinking about it

Regarding Sasori's attitude towards Kankuro when the first poisoned the last back in the Kazekage rescue arc... I don't think the reason why Sasori didn't kill him right away was because, deep down, he wanted Kankuro to live. On the contrary, he sadistically wanted the Kazekage's brother to die slowly and in agony. And also because he was pretty damn confident that no one would be able to figure out the meticulous formula of his poison and produce an antidote to counter It. bottom line, he was hiper confident in his abilities.

So anyone can be brought back with the reanimation jutsu as long as you have some of their DNA and as long as their souls aren’t already sealed (the first four hokage). Typically you can only end reanimation if the caster ends it, you seal them, or on some occasions you can free the soul from its binding with intense emotions/ closure

Some people argue the Aburame (bug people) are actually the most OP clam. Yes their Are OP clams with Sharingan, huge chakra, medical justu beyond belief. But Shnios clam is born with a powerful hidden jujutsu. They can take chakra from other people and give it back to their host. Who say some of them can’t create sprays for genjustsu, or snap them out of it. If your born in Shinos clan you will be a decent ninja but with all family’s or clans their are exceptional ones.
